DeltX Red Female Spade 4.8mm terminals are insulated crimp terminals supplied in a pack of 100. They are designed for use with 4.8 mm male spade tabs, giving a simple plug-in connection for wiring jobs where a female spade terminal is required.
Female spade terminals are widely used in electrical repair, assembly and maintenance work where a removable connection is needed. They are commonly found on automotive, marine and general electrical wiring, provided the tab size and conductor size match the terminal specification.
The female spade design allows the connector to slide onto the matching male blade tab. This makes it useful where components may need to be disconnected later for servicing or replacement.
Before ordering, check the width of the male tab you intend to connect to and confirm it is 4.8 mm. It is also important to match the terminal to the cable size and the insulation style required for your installation.
If you are replacing an existing connector, compare the terminal width, sleeve length and crimp style so the new part matches the original arrangement as closely as possible.
These terminals are intended for crimp installation rather than soldering. A proper crimp tool should be used to achieve a secure electrical and mechanical connection.
