DeltX Red Piggy-back 6.3mm terminals, long C/sleeve style, supplied in a pack of 100. For 6.3mm crimp connections where a piggy-back take-off is needed.
DeltX Red Piggy-back 6.3mm terminals are crimp-style electrical connectors supplied in a pack of 100. They are designed for making piggy-back connections at a 6.3mm tab, allowing one terminal position to be shared where the application requires it.
Piggy-back terminals are commonly used in electrical work where a connection needs to be taken from an existing 6.3mm spade/tab terminal without removing the original wire. They are often used in repairs, modification work and equipment wiring where quick, organised branching is needed.
The 6.3mm size is the key selection point: the terminal must match the tab or connector width on the part being connected. Because terminal fit depends on the mating terminal and the cable size, it is important to check the application before crimping.
Confirm the tab width, the cable size you intend to use and the space available around the connection point. Piggy-back terminals are useful when you need both the original connection and an additional take-off point, but they are not the same as a simple spade terminal or a fully insulated multi-way connector.
If you are replacing an existing terminal, match the style, width and sleeve arrangement as closely as possible to the original part. If the exact fit is uncertain, compare against the existing connector before fitting.
