DX-SWMP001

DELTX Vandal Proof Switch IP65 19mm Momentary On is a 19mm panel-mount momentary push button switch with a flat head and vandal-resistant construction. It is designed for applications where a robust, sealed switch is needed on equipment panels, control boxes or public-facing installations.

Key product details

• Installation diameter: 19mm
• Head shape: Flat
• Contact structure: 1NO
• Operation mode: Momentary
• Protection rating: IP65
• Certifications: CE, RoHS

Typical applications

Momentary vandal proof switches are commonly used where the button is pressed briefly to trigger an action and then released, such as door access systems, machinery controls, kiosks, automation panels and other equipment interfaces. The IP65 rating indicates protection against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets, which can be useful in indoor and sheltered outdoor environments.

Because this is a 1NO switch, it is intended for circuits that close when the button is pressed. Buyers should confirm that their control circuit expects a normally open momentary input and that the panel cut-out matches the 19mm installation size.

Choosing the correct 19mm switch

When selecting a replacement or new panel switch, check the required cut-out diameter, the head style and the contact arrangement before ordering. The switch type should also match how the equipment is designed to operate: momentary switches are only active while pressed, unlike latching switches that stay in position.

If you are replacing an existing part, compare the mounting size, terminal arrangement and ingress protection level with the original specification. For control panels used in exposed locations, the seal rating and front-face design can be important for durability and ease of cleaning.

Handling and fitment notes

Panel switches should be installed into the correct diameter opening and secured according to the equipment design. Always isolate power before fitting or replacing any switch, and verify wiring against the circuit requirements for the application.
