Typical applications

Rear position lamps are used to make a vehicle or trailer more visible from behind when lighting is on. This type of lamp is commonly used on commercial vehicles, trailers and other transport equipment where a rear marking light is required, but the exact installation depends on the vehicle design and the mounting position available.

Choosing the right rear position lamp

Check the operating voltage, mounting space and wiring requirements before ordering. For this item, the confirmed electrical range is 12V-24V and the lead length is 23 cm, so it is worth confirming that this suits the intended installation route. Because the listing says universal, the buyer should still verify the physical size and fixing arrangement against the application.

Handling and installation notes

As with any vehicle lamp, installation should be carried out with the system powered down and the wiring connected according to the vehicle or trailer instructions. Confirm correct polarity and secure cable routing so the lead is protected from strain and abrasion.
