Typical applications

Amber LED lightbars are commonly used on vehicles that need a visible warning beacon or presence marker, such as service vehicles, fleet vehicles and other working vehicles operating in traffic or on-site. The low-profile, ultra-narrow design is generally chosen where reduced overall height and a neater roofline are important.

Because warning light fitment depends on vehicle type, mounting position and the intended use, buyers should check the required approval level and whether the lightbar size suits the available mounting space before ordering.

Choosing the correct lightbar

Confirm that you need an amber warning lightbar rather than a directional, hazard or interior warning light. Match the approval standard needed for your application, and check any local legal or workplace requirements that apply to warning beacons and roof-mounted lighting.

Also verify the available roof area, cable routing and mounting arrangement so the lightbar can be installed securely and positioned to give the intended visibility.

Handling and installation

As with any vehicle warning light, the lightbar should be handled carefully to avoid damage to the lens and housing. Installation should be carried out in line with the vehicle and electrical system requirements for the chosen mounting method and control setup.
