Typical applications

Work lamps are used to provide task lighting on vehicles and equipment where extra illumination is needed around the immediate working area. A left-hand version is important where the lamp position or beam arrangement is handed, so the buyer should check the mounting side and the physical layout of the existing unit before ordering.

Choosing the correct work lamp

To select the right replacement, match the side, supply voltage and any part reference shown on the original lamp or vehicle documentation. If you are replacing an existing unit, the connector lead length and cable specification can also matter, especially where the wiring route is fixed or space is limited.

Handling and replacement guidance

Before fitting, confirm that the mounting position, wiring and lamp orientation suit the vehicle or machine. As with any replacement work lamp, the exact housing shape and fixing arrangement should be checked against the original part, because product families often include similar left- and right-hand versions.
