Typical applications

Warning lights of this type are commonly used on work vehicles, service vehicles, plant, recovery equipment and other machines that need a clear visual warning signal. A slim strobe design is often chosen where space is limited or a lower-profile mounting is preferred. Suitability depends on the vehicle, mounting position, electrical system and any site or road-use rules that apply.

Choosing the correct warning light

Check the supply voltage of the vehicle or machine first, as this unit is specified for both 12V and 24V systems. You should also confirm the available mounting space, the desired flash pattern options and whether the purple colour and R65 specification are appropriate for the intended use. If the light is being fitted for on-road use, always check the relevant legal and operational requirements before purchase.

Fitting and use considerations

As with any warning lamp, correct mounting position and wiring are important for effective visibility and reliable operation. Ensure the lamp is installed in a location that suits the vehicle profile and does not obstruct other equipment. If the application is safety-critical, use a qualified installer and follow the vehicle manufacturer’s guidance.
