Warning Beacon Finder

Find and compare warning beacons by voltage, mounting, colour, light effect, connection, weather protection and approval. The Delta Beacon Finder helps trade customers narrow the available range without checking every product individually.

Choose a 12V or 24V-compatible model, then filter magnetic, bolt-mounted, surface-mounted and DIN-pole beacons. Search LED, halogen and xenon products with rotating, simulated-rotation, flashing or strobe warning effects. Where recorded in the product mapping, you can also require ECE R65 approval, ECE R10 or EMC compliance, a minimum IP rating, rechargeable operation, synchronisation or an integrated worklight.

Choose the Right Warning Beacon for the Vehicle

A warning beacon must suit both the vehicle and the intended installation. Products that look similar may use different supply voltages, base fittings, cable connections, flash patterns or environmental protection. Start with the electrical system and mounting location, then compare the light effect, colour, approvals and any specialist functions.

The finder can be searched with one field only. Choose a brand for a quick view of its mapped range, select 24V compatibility for a commercial-vehicle installation, or combine several filters for a more exact result. Every result links to a product in Delta’s WooCommerce catalogue and uses its live image, SKU, availability and logged-in customer price.

12V, 24V and Multi-Voltage Beacons

Cars, light commercial vehicles and smaller equipment commonly use 12V electrical systems, while trucks, buses and many larger machines use 24V. Multi-voltage beacons can cover both systems, but the complete marked input range must still be checked before installation. The finder treats recorded ranges such as 12–24V, 10–30V and 9–32V as compatible with both 12V and 24V searches.

Warning Beacon Mounting Types

Magnetic and portable beacons

A magnetic beacon is useful where temporary installation or transfer between vehicles is required. Check that the mounting surface is suitable, clean and large enough for the base, and route the supply lead so it cannot be trapped or damaged.

Bolt and surface-mounted beacons

Three-bolt, single-bolt and surface mounts provide a permanent installation. Confirm the fixing pattern, available clearance, cable entry and roof or bracket construction before drilling.

DIN pole beacons

DIN pole and flexible DIN fittings are widely used on agricultural, plant and commercial vehicles. The beacon and socket must use compatible fittings and provide secure electrical contact.

Rotating, Flashing and Strobe Warning Effects

Traditional rotating beacons create a moving warning signal with a rotating mechanism. LED products may reproduce a rotating appearance electronically or provide selectable flashing and strobe patterns. A model with several patterns can help standardise a fleet, but the selected operating pattern must remain appropriate for the vehicle, application and local requirements.

Amber and Other Beacon Colours

Amber is widely used for hazard and service-vehicle warning applications. Blue, red, green, white and multi-colour products are intended for more specific uses and may be restricted. Always confirm that the selected colour and operating pattern are permitted for the vehicle and location where the beacon will be used.

ECE R65, ECE R10 and IP Ratings

Where available in the mapping, the finder can narrow results to products marked with ECE R65 approval and ECE R10 or EMC information. Approval should be confirmed against the exact product version and supplier documentation rather than inferred from appearance.

An IP rating describes tested protection against ingress under defined conditions. A higher number is not a substitute for correct installation: connectors, cable entries, mounting holes and control equipment must also be protected for the operating environment.

Compare Warning Beacon Models

Select up to four results to compare voltage, colour, technology, light effect, mounting, power connection, flash-pattern count, IP rating, approvals, special functions, applications, stock and logged-in price in one table. Differences are highlighted to make shortlisting faster.

Warning Beacon Finder FAQs

Can I search only by brand?

Yes. No field is compulsory. Select a brand and run the finder, or use any other single filter.

Will a multi-voltage beacon appear in both 12V and 24V searches?

Yes, when its recorded input range includes both voltages.

Can I find magnetic and DIN pole beacons separately?

Yes. Use the Mounting Type filter to narrow results to the required fitting.

Does the finder show live stock?

Yes. Availability is read from the current WooCommerce product, and Advanced Requirements can limit results to in-stock products.

Can I compare several warning beacons?

Yes. Add between two and four matching products to the comparison table.
